PRICING, SPECIFICATIONS, & OPTIONS
This is the fun page. This is where you can begin planning and ordering your new bike!! You'll find a lot of information here on specifications, materials, options, ideas, pricing & more. Even so, much of it only touches the surface of what you can do with an Anderson Custom Bicycle. Unlike some builders that have a set collection of models or styles, for which they simply vary the geometry and/or color to suit the taste and size of the customer, we build truly custom machines, especially when it comes to using steel. No two are alike, just like no two riders are alike. Do you want intricately carved lugs on your new touring bicycle? No Problem. A super comfortable lightweight fillet brazed frame for all day century riding? You got it. How about an ultralight, compact framed, all Dura-Ace racing bicycle? You've come to the right place! We also do all of our own paint and powder finish work. This allows us to have total control of your build from start to finish, and allows us to provide you with pretty much any paint or powder finish that you might want. Do you like clean lines and classic colors? or, how about a full on flame job? No problem. (Be sure to check out our PAINT page) If you have an idea, or want something that you do not find listed on this page, just ask. Within the confines of what can safely be done with a bicycle, we will try our best to accommodate your requests. If you have any questions at all about anything found here or on this entire site, just call or send an e-mail. We like talking about bikes and would welcome the chance to do so with you.....no strings attached. (Note on Components: Even though most of the time we build and deliver complete bicycles, the information below pertains to our frames and forks only. This is because of the huge variation of components available and related owner preferences. We are a "one stop shop", in that we can provide just about any group set or combination of components that you might want. We are also flexible; if you want just a frame, that's cool. If you want to use some (or all) of your own parts, no problem. If you would like us to provide everything, we are happy to oblige. Our component pricing is VERY competitive. If you know what you want, just provide a list and we will quote you our price. If you don't know what you want or need, please let us know and we will be happy to make recommendations..........PS: Our frame set pricing includes the installation and set up of components) There is SO much that you can do with steel, that its hard to provide for it all on this page. In short, just about anything you could want can be done in steel; Road, Touring, Mountain, Cyclocross, Commuter, Comfort, Time Trial, and so on. Therefore, our pricing reflects a base price for a frame and steel fork utilizing either lugged or fillet brazed construction. Options can be selected from there. Our steel frames are built with only the best tubing from top suppliers like Columbus, Dedacciai, & Reynolds, such as Columbus "Life" and "Spirit" and/or Dedacciai SAT14.5 (Zero) and SAT16.5, and/or Reynolds 853 and 953. (Note-If you would like, a specific tube set can be requested and we will do our best to accommodate your request.)
