METAL FRAME REPAIRS

(NOTE: Effective 8/22/2011, I have temporarily suspended my Frame Repair Service. This is because my primary focus is Custom Made Bicycles and the demand for those has been such that I simply do not currently have time to complete repairs and related refinishes in a timely fashion. One of the great things about steel bicycles is the fact that they are nearly infinitely repairable and upgradeable. From chasing threads to replacing entire tubes, steel bicycles can almost always be repaired or restored. I also do a limited number of aluminum frame repairs, including bottle boss installation or replacement, drop out straightening, hanger replacement and etc. Please do not feel limited by what you see below or listed on the attached price list. Seat tube replacement and repaint and on 1970's French Cyclocross bike.


This early '80's Trek needed a new front triangle. Additional photos of its repair and restoration can be found HERE and HERE


This Hampsten had a rusted out top tube and several other rusted areas. I made several repairs and replaced the top tube before doing a complete refinish. Additional Photos of this repair can be seen HERE

Brazed on water bottle boss installation	Drop out conversion. This bike had vertical drops, the owner wanted these horizontals so that he would have a single speed option, while still being able to run a derailleur.

Seat tube repairs on a Huffy

Seat tube replacement on 1977 Trek	Canti Boss Install-Cantilever bosses were added to this fork and I then painted the fork to match the original frame color.
